We’re Regan and Dak Rissman, the husband-and-wife team behind Skyshield.

As lifelong Floridians, we’ve always felt most at home on the water. Whether we’re fishing in Islamorada, traveling together, or spending time with our long-haired dachshund, Snorkel, life outdoors has always been part of who we are. Dak’s career as a professional pilot and Regan’s background in executive leadership ultimately brought us to one defining question: Why wasn’t there a pilot dress shirt designed to help protect pilots from UV exposure at altitude?

That question became Skyshield.

Today, we’re proud to introduce the first-to-market pilot dress shirt with built-in UV protection—crafted from premium bamboo performance fabric, refined through a renowned Los Angeles product development team, and thoughtfully designed for the professionals who spend their careers above the clouds.

But this is only the beginning. Our vision extends far beyond one shirt. We’re building a complete pilot apparel brand, expanding our product line, partnering with aviation organizations and companies, and continuing to innovate for the people who keep the world moving.
